Happy Birthday Mommy!

Mommy turned 25!!! ... Again :) OK, maybe you're more like 30... 5...

Mommy and her twin sister Aunt Tracy had their birthday on Friday, September 15. Their birthday present was a set of Disneyland annual passes for the whole family! It's the gift that keeps on giving. For 365 days. To everyone in the family!

Daddy and Uncle Doug took the day off on Friday, and both families spend a whopping 13 hours at Disneyland on the first day of their annual passes. This was the first time at Disneyland for Evan, Quinn and Carter. It was so fun to see the looks on their faces. Our favorite rides included Buzz Lightyear's shooting gallery, the rockets in Futureland, Autopia, Pirates of the Carribean and the flying Dumbos. Evan, Quinn, Carter, Daddy and Uncle Doug saw an amazing live demonstration of Asmio, the humanoid robot made by Honda. We also saw some amazing fireworks before leaving at 10 o'clock.

The next day, we went to California Adventure Land. It was a shorter day, but still lots of fun. Well, other than Evan falling down the escalator and getting a nasty owie on the back of his head... that wasn't so much fun. But Evan was very brave. He let the nurse fix him up, and then we went off for another fun-filled day, spent mostly in A Bug's Land. Mommy and Aunt Tracy even got free packs of tortillas from the Mission tortilla factory in the park because it was their birthday. (Mommy had cleverly kept one of the "Happy Birthday" stickers from the day before!)

All in all, this was an awesome birthday. And the fun promises to continue throughout the year! Not to mention our upcoming Baja cruise in two weeks for Grandma Joyce's 60th birthday! This is going to be an incredibly fun year.
