Happy (Belated) Birthday Grandma Joyce!!!

Grandma Joyce (aka "Namma" to Evan/Carter and "Mom" to Trina/Tracy) turned 60 in September, and 17 of her family and friends went on a Princess Cruise to celebrate.

Namma and her grandsons - Evan, Carter and Quinn!!!

On the first formal night Tracy and Doug got all dressed up, dined with Grandma Joyce and friends, saw the stage show, and danced the night away. Don't they look gorgeous!

And here's a photo of Tracy and Mom. She sure doesn't look 60!

And here's a photos of us out on our balcony at night.

Evan and Carter LOVED playing together on the "Big Boat."

Can't forget the youngest member of the family - Quinn!

Tracy and Trina on a snorkeling excursion in Cabo San Lucas

Unfortunately, Grandma Joyce wasn't feeling well on the fifth day of the cruise. She was taken off of the boat, spent some time in a hospital in Cabo San Lucas, and flown back to the US via a medical flight. Tracy joined her. So here is a photo of the whole group (minus Mom and Tracy) on the last night of the cruise.

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Mommy turned 25!!! ... Again :) OK, maybe you're more like 30... 5...

Mommy and her twin sister Aunt Tracy had their birthday on Friday, September 15. Their birthday present was a set of Disneyland annual passes for the whole family! It's the gift that keeps on giving. For 365 days. To everyone in the family!

Daddy and Uncle Doug took the day off on Friday, and both families spend a whopping 13 hours at Disneyland on the first day of their annual passes. This was the first time at Disneyland for Evan, Quinn and Carter. It was so fun to see the looks on their faces. Our favorite rides included Buzz Lightyear's shooting gallery, the rockets in Futureland, Autopia, Pirates of the Carribean and the flying Dumbos. Evan, Quinn, Carter, Daddy and Uncle Doug saw an amazing live demonstration of Asmio, the humanoid robot made by Honda. We also saw some amazing fireworks before leaving at 10 o'clock.

The next day, we went to California Adventure Land. It was a shorter day, but still lots of fun. Well, other than Evan falling down the escalator and getting a nasty owie on the back of his head... that wasn't so much fun. But Evan was very brave. He let the nurse fix him up, and then we went off for another fun-filled day, spent mostly in A Bug's Land. Mommy and Aunt Tracy even got free packs of tortillas from the Mission tortilla factory in the park because it was their birthday. (Mommy had cleverly kept one of the "Happy Birthday" stickers from the day before!)

All in all, this was an awesome birthday. And the fun promises to continue throughout the year! Not to mention our upcoming Baja cruise in two weeks for Grandma Joyce's 60th birthday! This is going to be an incredibly fun year.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Evan!!!

On June 15th, Evan turned 3 years old.
Here's a photo of Evan on his birthday.

Due to his love of reading the books, Evan had a Curious George-themed birthday party. It was fun monkeying around with family and friends. Aunt Tracy made a banana cake (Martha Stewart's Monkey Cake recipe), and Mommy decorated it.
Quinn, who is now 3 months old, had fun too!
P.S. Happy Father's Day to Jason and Trina's Dad!

Aunt Kim is holding Quinn while he is being baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Namma Joyce loves holding Baby Quinn.

Thanks to Aunt Tracy, Mommy had a nice dress to wear.

Grandma O. makes Quinn smile while Grandpa O. holds Piper.

Trina's friends Jenny and Rachael drove up from San Diego.

Cousin Carter and Evan love each other.
